to book you can drop-in at class time and see if there's space. Classes are taught in French and English.
The address and map are on the 'contact us' page.

Which one is the 'real' yoga?

Yoga is not a religion! One of the beautiful things about it is that regardless of what kind of yoga you do or why you start doing it; it has this subtle way of slowly pervading all aspects of your life - making you a a happier, kinder, more relaxed and accepting person (amongst many other things).

So whether you prefer practicing slowly in a deep, meditative silence or rocking your sun salutations to a Michael Franti beat; rest assured that a consistent practice of linking breath and movement through a series of postures is real yoga: an ancient tradition that has been handed down - and adapted - over thousands of years.

Your Brain on Yoga

Recently American Neuroscientists have began testing the effects of a meditative yoga practice. Here are some of their findings:

Brain scans of regular practitioners showed unsurpassed neural activity in circuits involving maternal love (caudate), empathy (right insula), and feelings of joy and happiness (left prefrontal cortex).

Researchers at Boston University School of Medicine and McLean Hospital have found that practicing yoga may elevate brain gamma-aminobutyric (GABA) levels, the brain’s primary inhibitory neurotransmitter. The findings suggest that the practice of yoga is a promising treatment for depression and anxiety, disorders associated with low GABA levels.
